Why you joined ADPI? Being a legacy, I grew up surrounded by Alpha Delta Pi, With vivid memories of my mother traveling from conference to conference, even when my mom won the golden lion in 2015. I thought it was a bigger deal than winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Going after school to new member sleepovers with my mom, to drop off food and snacks to these girls sitting in circles telling stories, I had always wanted to be apart of that from the distance I saw it from. To finally be apart of it and create my own legacy is something I would have told ten year old Carlie and she would have not been more excited.
